I just got back from my trip with Margaritaville at Sea aboard the Sea Islander, and I have to say—it was an incredible experience from start to finish! If you’re looking for a cruise that combines relaxation, fun, and fantastic service, this is the perfect choice.

Smooth Sailing from Start to Finish
Embarkation and disembarkation were incredibly smooth, which made the entire travel process stress-free. Right from the get-go, I felt welcomed by the amazing staff who made me feel special and ensured I was well taken care of throughout the trip.
The Room: Spacious, Clean, and Comfortable
I stayed on Deck 8 in a balcony room, and it was perfect. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and impeccably clean. My room attendants were wonderful, always making sure every detail was taken care of. Having a balcony to step out and take in the ocean view was an absolute highlight—there’s nothing like a sea breeze to start and end your day!

Something for Everyone: Pools, Activities, and Entertainment
There was never a dull moment on board. With three pools, plenty of lounge chairs, and endless activities, you could never be bored. Whether you’re lounging by the pool, trying out a new activity, or catching one of the incredible live shows, the ship had something for every kind of traveler. And for those who like to keep things exciting, there was even a casino onboard for a little extra thrill after dark!
Food, Drinks, and Dining Experience
When it comes to food and drinks, the Margaritaville at Sea cruise really delivers. With 12 restaurants and 13 lounges, there’s something for everyone’s taste. From casual bites to fine dining, and of course, those fun cocktail spots, you’ll never run out of choices. Some restaurants did have an extra charge, but it was totally worth it for the quality and variety of options available.

One of my favorite parts was using the $75 credit toward activities, which made booking excursions a breeze. If you’re looking to get a little more adventurous, the excursions were easy to book and offered some amazing experiences!
The Cozumel Port: A Beautiful Paradise
The Cozumel port was absolutely stunning! The crystal-clear waters, clean beaches, and laid-back atmosphere made it the perfect place to enjoy some sun and explore the island. Honestly, I would come back just for this port alone—it was paradise.
A Couple of Notes
Room Temperature: My room was a bit warmer than I’d prefer, but the room attendants had someone fix it right away. For future trips, I’d recommend bringing a travel-size fan just in case.
Progreso Port: The Progreso port wasn’t my favorite, especially when it came to the beaches. If I were to visit again, I’d definitely book an excursion to Chichen Itza or a cenote tour—I heard they’re amazing and would be great ways to explore more of the area!
Final Thoughts
Overall, I had an incredible time aboard the Sea Islander and would definitely sail with Margaritaville at Sea again. If you're looking for a cruise that offers a mix of relaxation, fun, and great service, this is the cruise for you. The beautiful rooms, exciting activities, great food, and stunning ports made this trip truly memorable. ☀️🚢

If you're considering this cruise, I highly recommend it! It’s the perfect way to relax and have a blast all at once. Have you been on Margaritaville at Sea or are you thinking about booking?
XOXO,
